Between dance, music & studio light

When Arina Luisa drops a new song, I know there's more to it than just music. It's full of movement, passion, and energy. That's exactly what I wanted to capture photographically – not just in the traditional way behind the scenes, but with a little extra: a spontaneous portrait studio right on set.

I was booked to photograph BTS. Document, capture the atmosphere, and quiet moments amidst the loud bass. But something inside me wanted more. I wanted to give the dancers, who put so much heart and soul into their performance, their own stage. So, I quickly set up a mini studio – with light, shadows, and exactly the space needed to capture personality.

And what can I say? It was magical. Between takes, they came by, still out of breath, full of adrenaline – and that's exactly what you see in the portraits. Every look, every pose tells a little story. Authentic and raw.

This mix of spontaneous creativity and planned chaos is what I love. Using the camera not just as a tool, but as a bridge – between stage and backstage, between performance and personality.

The day showed me once again how much photography can tell – if you dare to push the boundaries a little. Thanks to Arina Luisa and her incredible team for allowing me to be a part of it.
